Mr. Simon Imoro is the IT/Data Manager of CfHSS. He is responsible for; 1) Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks related to the implementation of projects. 2) Developing and maintaining databases for the collection of project-related data. 3) Managing and updating the CfHSS website. 4) Troubleshooting systems and network problems. 5) Setting up new users’ accounts for staff and resolving password issues. Simon has about 12 years of experience in different organizations collaborating with both International and Local NGOs, as well as Government institutions such as the Ghana Health Service, Ghana Statistical Service, and Ministry of Food and Agriculture. Before joining CfHSS, Simon taught at IPMC College of Technology in Kumasi, as a Software/Database instructor. He also worked for the International Potato Centre, Ghana as Data Manager/IT Specialist. His expertise includes providing general IT support including trainings to team of research scientists and technicians, development of M&E tools and programming them into ODK for field data collection, training and supervising enumerators to collect research data, and providing support to cleaning and analyzing data. Simon holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Information Technology both from KNUST, and currently pursuing an MSc degree in Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation at the same institution.
