The Centre for Health System Strengthening team led by the Programs Coordinator, Dr. Godfred Acheampong has successfully completed laboratory set-up and device installations as well as molecular training for SARS-CoV-2 testing at the Tamale and Sekondi Public Health Laboratories.
CfHSS with support from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has established two biosafety Level II facilities at the Tamale and Sekondi Public Health Laboratories.
The Centre for Health System Strengthening with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and as part of its capacity building programme has procured sequencers and its accompanying reagents for the National Public Health Reference Laboratory.
