Professor John Tia Bugri is the current Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He has over 30 years of experience as a Land Economist and Lecturer at KNUST. Professor Bugri has worked with various organisation of international repute and lead international projects as chairman of the Evaluation Technical Committee of the Ghana National Lands Commission from 2014-2017, Country Coordinator of the Lands Governance Assessment from 2011-2012 and Coordinator of the Land Tenure and Security Improvement Project from 2012-2015. Currently he is the project coordinator of the Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa and the Network for Excellence for Land Governance in West Africa. He has received funding from agencies including the World Bank, German Economic Cooperation Agency and the Government of Ghana.
